Now darling, if you haven't read our post on how to upload your wardrobe, you might want to head over there first to get the basics and then come back here to level up those skills!

Lucky for you, we have compiled a list of our top tips so your wardrobe can look the best it can. In fact, it will look so good, you’ll want to scream and shout about it so everyone can see!

TIP 1 — Product images

When it comes to uploading the images of your items, we recommend uploading the product image. This is the image on the brand's website and is often the item against a plain background.

Uploading the product image means that all your items will look super sleek and professional in your wardrobe. It might take a bit more digging around but trust us darling, it's worth it!

TIP 2 — Use a white background

It is likely that you may not be able to find the image online anymore (for all those vintage pieces you have) but don't fret, we’ve got you!

In this case, take a picture of your item against a white background. This can be a wall or a sheet and will help the item pop when you upload it into your wardrobe!

TIP 3 — Upload multiple images

You may not know but you can actually upload multiple images for one item. This is great if you want to include a picture from a different angle or showing a unique feature. You could also upload an image of you wearing the item to show how it looks on. The more, the merrier!

TIP 4 — Use the description

You may think you don't need a description for your items, but it can be helpful — especially when someone wants to borrow it! When adding in the description of an item the best thing you can do is use the one from the brand’s website! That way all the hard work is done for you and everyone will get the low down on your item.

TIP 5 — Adding brands

When you're uploading an item, it’s important to add in a brand. This will help with your wardrobes stats and let our wardrobe community know what’s what.

Is your brand not showing up? Email us with the brand name and we’ll add it in! We are adding new brands in every day so don't forget to check which brands have been added and change your wardrobe accordingly!

TIP 6 — Adding stores

You may not know but you can actually add the store you purchased the item in. Say you bought your beloved Chanel flap bag in Harrods — well you can add that information in when you upload an item!

All you need to do to is click STORE in ITEM DETAILS and select which one you bought it from!

TIP 7— Delete an item

If you’re anything like Team LBD then your closet is a constant revolving door of fashion! Worried that your LBD wardrobe isn't up to date? No stress, you can delete items really easily. All you have to do is head to your wardrobe and swipe left on the item you want to remove.
